Summary:
At 1:19 p.m. on February 24, UTPD responded to a report of shoplifting at the CVS Pharmacy located off campus at 2222 Guadalupe Street. Officers arrived on scene and detained a suspect who was also reported to have assaulted a CVS employee. The employee did not sustain any serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no threat to campus.
