Records Manager
Diane Glerum serves as the Records Manager for The University of Texas at Austin Police Department. A lifelong Central Texas resident, she was born and raised in Austin. Having grown up in a family of proud Longhorns, with her father being a University of Texas at Austin alumnus, she is especially proud to serve the community she has called home throughout her life.
Before joining UTPD, Diane worked as a medical transcriptionist for 18 years while raising her family. As her children grew older, she began her public service career with the Williamson County District Clerk's Office before joining the Cedar Park Police Department's Records Department, where she discovered a passion for records management and the essential role it plays in supporting organizational efficiency, public safety, and exceptional customer service.
During her time at the Cedar Park Police Department, Diane advanced from Administrative Technician to Records Supervisor. She also volunteered at a variety of community events, building meaningful relationships with residents and contributing to the community beyond her day-to-day responsibilities. In recognition of her dedication and service, she was honored with the Civilian of the Year Award.
Diane is committed to accuracy, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional service. She enjoys the challenges and complexities of records management and is always seeking opportunities to improve processes, strengthen collaboration, and support those around her. She takes pride in contributing to the success of her team and organization while fostering a culture of professionalism and accountability.
She is proud to serve The University of Texas at Austin and remains committed to building strong relationships across the university community while supporting the continued success of the University of Texas at Austin Police Department.
