Summary:

Around 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, UTPD officers heard the Austin Police Department (APD) release a description of an aggravated robbery suspect for an incident that occurred in the 2300 block of Guadalupe Street. APD advised the call came in around 10:51 a.m., regarding a male suspect holding a knife who robbed someone. UTPD officers assisted APD officers in searching the area for the suspect.

Suspect Description:

- White male

- 30 - 40 years of age

- About 5'10" in height

- Slim build

- Facial hair: Stubble/scruffy beard and hair

Last seen wearing:

- Brown shirt or jacket

- Blue jeans

- Dark backpack

Suspect was last seen traveling NB on Guadalupe Street, away from main campus. APD advised this is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to campus.
