INCIDENT NOTIFICATION - Aggravated Assault (TRINITY GARAGE)

Summary:

At 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022, UTPD responded to a report of assault that occurred at Trinity Garage (1815 Trinity Street). 

When officers arrived they made contact with three victims (NON-UT). EMS arrived to assist with medical evaluations of one of the victims. This male victim refused transport but stated his friends would drive him to the hospital. 

Officers located a male suspect (NON-UT), and took him into custody. Officers spoke with witnesses who confirmed the victims' stories. The suspect was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of assault. There is no ongoing threat to the community at this time.
