Off-Campus Incident Notification: Assist Outside Agency (2300 blk Guadalupe)

February 12, 2024

Around 1:55 p.m., the Austin Police Department (APD) responded to the 2200 block of Guadalupe Street in regards to a disturbance. A few minutes later, UTPD was notified that of an assault that happened in the 2300 block of Guadalupe Street. UTPD officers immediately responded to assist the victim (UT-affiliated). A possible suspect (not UT-affiliated) has been identified, but is not in custody at this time.

Suspect is described as:
- White or Hispanic male
- in his 40s
- 5'7" in height
- around 185 lbs.
- Medium-length, curly, black hair
- Mustache

He was last seen wearing:
- Brown jacket that zips in the front
- Black pants
