Austin Police have released images of the robbery suspect in an updated press release.
Summary:
At 12:22 p.m., the Austin Police Department alerted UTPD to a report of a bank robbery at the Chase Bank in the 2500 block of Guadalupe Street.
Suspect Description:
The suspect is described as a white male, 6'2" in height, 230 in weight, balding with gray hair. He was wearing a black jacket, black backpack and a blue disposable mask.
The suspect exited the back of the bank on foot and headed westbound on San Antonio Street. He did not display a weapon.
APD and UTPD are in the area searching for the suspect. If you see someone matching the description in the area, call 911.
