Please read the following update and watch this video. On October 21, Austin Police announced detectives are seeking information regarding a person of interest in the below robbery series.

Summary:. 

The Austin Police Department is investigating four aggravated robberies believed to be connected to the same suspects, three of which involved UT students. 

Locations include:

10/5/20 at 11:05 p.m., 1300 Crossing Place (Southeast Austin)

10/6/20 at 12:59 a.m., 25th and Leon Street (West Campus)

10/6/20 at 2:49 a.m., 700 W. 24th Street (West Campus)

Suspect Description:

Suspects are described as two armed black males in a dark colored sedan-style vehicle. Austin Police say the suspects appear to be targeting women who are walking alone at night. It appears to be a crime of opportunity. UTPD and APD are actively looking for the suspects.
