Summary:

On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, around 11:35 a.m., two UT employees were walking outside a building on the JJ Research Pickle Research Campus when they saw a man acting suspiciously. Witnesses advised that the man displayed a knife and walked towards them. The employees retreated into the building and the suspect left the area, walking south on Burnet Rd. UTPD officers immediately responded to search the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported. UTPD Detectives are actively investigating this incident.

Suspect Description:

- Hispanic male

- Blue, short sleeve shirt

- Black pants
