UTPD’s Public Information and Communications function manages the department’s strategic communications, including social media, media relations, website content, photography, videography, graphic design, public safety messaging, community outreach, and internal communications. Working in coordination with department leadership and university partners, the office supports transparency, engagement, emergency communications, recruitment efforts, and public awareness initiatives across the university community.
