OFF-CAMPUS INCIDENT NOTIFICATION

August 1, 2022

On Monday, August 1, 2022, around 2:32 a.m., a woman flagged down UTPD officers and advised that she had recently been assaulted by a male subject near a bus stop located in the 1500 block of Trinity Street. Due to the location of where the assault occurred, UTPD notified Austin Police Department (APD) and they are the lead agency on this case. APD is investigating this incident as a Robbery by Threat, incident #22-2130155.

The suspect is described as: 

- Black male

- Thin build

- Early 20s

- Wearing black t-shirt

- Black shorts

Suspect was last seen walking north on Trinity Street. 

APD is actively investigating this incident. Call their agency by dialing 3-1-1 if you have any information about this crime and reference APD Incident# 22-2130155.
