UTPD West serves as a dedicated satellite office supporting the West Campus community. Located at 2400 Nueces Street, the office provides a convenient location for students, faculty, staff, residents, and visitors to connect with UTPD officers, ask questions, share concerns, and access campus safety resources.
The office supports UTPD's community-oriented policing philosophy by strengthening relationships, encouraging collaboration, and enhancing public safety throughout the West Campus neighborhood. UTPD West also serves as a collaborative workspace for partner law enforcement agencies working alongside UTPD.

UTPD officers assigned to the West Campus Patrol Unit work proactively throughout the West Campus neighborhood to enhance safety, build community partnerships, and respond to calls for service in coordination with UTPD's 24/7 police operations.
