OFF-CAMPUS INCIDENT NOTIFICATION - Assist Outside Agency / Assault by Contact

On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, around 11:11 a.m., a UT staff member was groped by an unknown male suspect in the 2400 block of Guadalupe St. Witnesses advised that the suspect left on foot, traveling northbound on Guadalupe Street.
Around 12:26 p.m., the Austin Police Department (APD) requested UTPD’s assistance. UTPD officers quickly responded to the scene and searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as:
- White male
- Approximately 5’9” in height
- Approximately 140 lbs. in weight
He was last seen wearing:
- Black shirt
- Black turban
- Black shorts
