Summary:

On April 29, UTPD filed charges against a former UT student for burglary of a habitation and indecent assault after investigating an anonymous report of possible burglaries involving sexual deviant behavior at Jester Residence Hall.

Through its investigation, UPTD verified the suspect made entry into unlocked rooms and performed indecent acts while the rooms were unoccupied.

UTPD has eight known victims at this time.

It is possible more crimes may have taken place. If you are a Jester resident and believe you are missing items, or that your belongings may have been tampered with email a detective or call 512-471-4441, extension 9 and ask to speak with a detective.
