UPDATE: UTPD detectives investigated and were able to positively identify the burglary suspect.  Officers successfully located the suspect and took him into custody. He was charged with Burglary of a Building. 

Original Summary: 

Around 9 a.m. on Friday, July 29, UTPD received a report regarding a burglary that occurred overnight in the 2000 block of Guadalupe Street at Dobie Twenty21. The caller advised that they did not witness the incident occur and it appeared suspect(s) were no longer on scene. UTPD officers responded and secured the area. Upon investigation, detectives and crime scene technicians determined a burglary had occurred. No suspect has been detained at this time. No injuries were reported



Suspect Description:

  • White male

  • Age 30 – 40

  • Short, blonde hair
