Summary:

At 8:50 p.m., UTPD responded to a report of attempted burglaries at Brackenridge Apartments, 3501 Lake Austin Boulevard. An employee there stated that they witnessed a person taking off a window screen and pushing up on the window, trying to open it.

The employee also noticed screens had been removed off windows to other apartment units. One of those units was occupied and the window was opened without the occupant's knowledge. 

Officers are on scene searching for the suspect.

Suspect Description:

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'9" in height, wearing a gray shirt, black pants, and possibly a blue mask.
