Summary:

December 4, 2021

On 12/03/2021 at 8:05 PM, UTPD Communication received a call of an incident that occurred. The victim, a female UT student, stated she was walking on the north side of Kinsolving Dorm when a male approached her, touched her shoulder, grabbed towards her purse strap and asked how much money was inside. The female victim ran from the area.  She described the suspect as a Black male, in his 50's, approximately 5'8" or 5'9", wearing a grey hoodie ad black sweatpants.

Officers searched the area with negative results.
