Summary:

On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, around 10:21 p.m., UTPD officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Nueces Street in regards to a report of suspicious activity. A UT student advised he was walking NB on Nueces Street, when a white sedan containing several occupants drove by and the student felt several airsoft-type, plastic pellets impact his back. The sedan left the scene, traveling south on Nueces Street. The student victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

Officers canvassed the area for a suspect vehicle and checked cameras in the area. No suspects were located at the time.

Suspect Description:

Four or five White or Hispanic males with dark hair. They were traveling southbound on Nueces Street, in a white sedan around 10:20 p.m.
