Summary:

At 1:45 PM on 10/16/19, the Austin Police Department alerted UTPD to a report of Armed Robbery at 709 W. 22nd Street.

University Police responded to the West Campus Liquor Store to assist Austin Police Department with a reported armed robbery. The victim was reported to be a UT Student. Austin Police officers arrived on scene to assist the complainant.

According to Austin police, "the complainant was uncooperative and refused to provide a statement. The complainant said the subject was armed, but no gun was located on the subject nor in the vehicle. There are no suspects in this case since the complainant does not wish to continue or cooperate with the investigation. The subject was released from the scene. A party involved admitted this was over drugs. No injuries were reported."
