Crime Prevention Tip:

During the investigation the officer learned that no one remembered locking the office at 5:00 PM when it was time to go home. It's ironic that we remember to lock our homes and apartments when it is time to go to work and we claim ownership over our own personal property, but fail to extend that same ownership when we are entrusted with State owned property. One of the oldest forms of crime prevention, simply locking a door, has stood the test of time.

When officers approached the subject they detected a very strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person.
