Main Building, #1 South Mall
Occurred on 01-04-06 at 2:50 AM.
Assist Outside Agency: A non-commissioned security officer reported seeing two subjects who appeared to be working on two bicycles on the south side of the building. The two non-UT subjects were found to be in possession of a yellow Schwinn Mesa bicycle and a blue NEXT bicycle. There was no evidence that the bicycle had been stolen. One of the two subjects was found to have three outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for public intoxication (1) and failure to appear in court (2).
Sanchez Building, 1912 Speedway
Occurred between 12-27-05 and 01-02-06 at 8:00 AM.
Theft: A package containing a Maco OS10 server was stolen when it was left in an unsecured 2nd floor hallway. Loss value: $5,000.00.
Occurred at various times.
Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, The University of Texas Police Department responded to 11 alarm calls, 3 unsecured door reports and 4 suspicious activity reports between 01-03-06 and 01-04-06.
