Crime Prevention Tip of the Day:

Are you looking for that perfect gift to give to that special someone? May I be so bold as to suggest giving them a cellular telephone? Believe it or not this is the best crime prevention tool you could provide for them. Right now you are probably cringing at the thought of providing that special someone with a thousand minutes of air time to go along with their new cell phone. Well let me put that thought to rest. As long as you are not purchasing a web based cellular telephone you do not need to provide air time. 911 telephone calls to the police, fire department, or EMS are free. Web based cellular services are charging for these calls, even though it is illegal to do so. All you need to get is a cellular telephone that has a battery that will hold a charge.
