Graffiti: Words written in black spray paint and black ink where discovered on the north east portion of the building. Repair Value $50.00.
Penick-Allison Tennis Center, 1701 Trinity Street
Occurred on 7-19-05 at 3:05 a.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was discovered inside the south box office sleeping. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning and escorted from the area.
George I. Sánchez Building, 1912 Speedway
Occurred between 7-16-05 at 6:00 p.m. and 7-18-05 at 11:30 a.m.
Theft: A Canon Powershot digital camera, 50 music CDs, and a Palm Pilot cradle were stolen from a secured fourth floor office. Loss Value: $420.00.
Service Building, 300 East 24th Street
Occurred on 7-18-05 at 3:25 p.m.
Possession of a Controlled Substance / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Execution of Warrant: UT police officers received information that a non-UT subject, who had previously made a terroristic threat, could be found at the Service Building. Officers located the subject and took him into custody. During a search of the subject, officers discovered a plastic bag containing 0.5 gram of PCP along with other suspected drug paraphernalia.
Sutton Hall, 210 West 21st Street
Occurred between 7-16-05 at 12:01 p.m. and 7-18-05 at 8:30 a.m.
Theft: A Dell desktop computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse were stolen from a secured second floor office. Loss Value: $900.00.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 7-18-05 at 9:55 p.m.
Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was seen yelling and singing at patrons inside the Union Underground. His actions caused a disturbance, resulting in several complaints to management. When asked to leave the area by the Underground manager he refused. However, when the manger picked up the telephone to contact the police department the subject went upstairs and sat down inside another room and waited for the police. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning and escorted from the building.
2500 Block Wichita
Occurred on 7-18-05 at 4:55 p.m.
Leaving The Scene Collision: A UT subject saw a white Acura, with a black trunk, strike a parked white UT vehicle. The driver of the Acura then drove away without leaving any required information. The witness observed a 6" X 6" dent in the left rear bumper. After writing down the license plate number, she contacted the police department. Repair Damage: $1,000.00.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 7 alarm calls, 3 unsecured doors, 2 suspicious activity reports, 3 public assist requests, 2 medical emergencies, and 1 collision between 7-18-05 and 7-19-05.
