Request for Assistance

An unidentified subject has exposed himself on two separate occasions within the past year; the last case being in March of 2005. The subject has been reported as being a UT student, who has been on campus for several years. Both cases occurred in the Union Building. The subject is described as a white male, 5'10" tall, 180 pounds, 35 to 40 years of age, clean shaven, blonde hair, blue eyes, "physically fit" having a "cherubic face" and wears polo style golf shirts, khaki shorts and tennis shoes. Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 5-12-05 between 1:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

Theft: An Apple iPod was stolen from inside a closed gym bag after it was left unattended by the basketball courts. Loss value: $300.00.

Jesse H. Jones Communication Center, Building B, 2504 B Whitis Ave.

Occurred between 5-12-05 at 1:00 a.m. and 5-13-05 at 1:00 a.m.

Burglary of Coin-Operated Machine (Criminal Episode): Three coin-operated machines located inside three separate women's rest rooms were discovered to have been forced open and an undetermined amount of product and money was removed from each machine.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 5-12-05 at 5:30 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Delinquent Conduct / Graffiti: A non-UT subject and a juvenile were discovered inside the elevator lobby after being seen wandering various floors. During the investigation, graffiti was discovered inside one of the elevators and a black magic marker was found in the possession of the juvenile. Loss value: $150.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 5-12-05 between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.

Theft: A silver Samsung cellular telephone and a silver Canon Powershot A360 digital camera were stolen from an unsecured first floor dorm room. Loss value: $100.00.

San Jacinto Dormitory, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred on 5-13-05 at 12:44 a.m.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, under the legal age of 21, was found to be in possession of a small, one gallon keg of beer inside his dormitory room during an investigation of an unrelated matter.

Parking Lot F-11, 2200 Block Speedway

Occurred on 5-12-05 between 5:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The roof of a Mazda 626 was discovered dented and covered with footprints after being parked inside the lot. Loss value: $1,000.00.

Occurred at various times.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 7 alarm calls, 2 unsecured door reports, 3 suspicious activity report, and 1 public assist between 5-12-05 and 5-13-05.
