Criminal Mischief: An unidentified subject pulled a card reader door lock from the wall at the entrance to a basement level laundry room. Repair cost: $150.00.

Occurred on 2-28-05 at 6:25 p.m.
Assault with Bodily Injury / Assault on a Public Servant: A UT police officer observed a non-UT subject yelling at an acquaintance of his, who was a UT student. The subject grabbed the student around her wrist and upper arm and pulled her arms causing her small cuts and pain. After the police officer ordered the subject to release the student, the subject approached the officer, balled his fist up and swung at the officer's head. The subject struck the officer in the top of the head causing a bump on the officer's head. The subject attempted to flee the area on foot but was unable to cross the roadway due to traffic. The subject became compliant and was taken into custody.

Occurred on 2-28-05 between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Theft: A white Trek 4300 was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack on the north side of the building. Loss value: $400.00.

Occurred on 2-28-05 at 6:00 p.m.
Public Intoxication / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found leaning his upper body over the hand rail of the highway overpass while holding a backpack in his hands. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself or others. The subject was also found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for failure to appear in court.
Parking Lot 27, 2600 Whitis Avenue
Occurred on 2-28-05 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
Theft: A bright blue MTX bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a u-lock to a street sign post located at the entrance to the Parking Lot. Loss value: $100.00.
2200 Robert Dedman Drive
Occurred on 2-28-05 at 10:00 p.m.
Minor in Possession of Alcohol (2 counts) / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): A UT student and a non-UT subject, who are acquaintances and both under the age of 21, were found engaged in a verbal altercation near the student's illegally parked vehicle. Both subjects were found to have consumed an alcoholic beverage. 18 twelve-ounce bottles of beer were found in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
Occurred on 3-1-05 at 12:45 a.m.
Open Container Violation / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was stopped for disregarding two stop signs and exceeding the posted speed limit while driving a 1998 Honda Civic. The subject was found to have three outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for traffic violations. A plastic cup containing an alcoholic beverage was found in the driver's side cup holder of the center console.
