Occurred on 1-21-05 at 6:10 a.m.
Public Intoxication / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found on the 10th floor pulling on dormitory room door knobs. The student did not know where he was and stated he did not understand why he could not get into his 9th floor dormitory room. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
Parking Lot F-19, 1700 Red River
Occurred on 1-20-05 at 2:00 p.m.
Assault: An unidentified subject approached a UT staff member from behind as the staff member exited her parked vehicle. The subject pushed the staff member to the ground. The staff member could only see the subject's blue jeans while the subject left the area in a northbound direction.
Parking Lot 107, 2500 North IH-35
Occurred on 1-20-05 between 3:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
Criminal Mischief: Black tar was "sprayed" down the left door of a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck while the truck was parked in the Parking Lot. Removal cost: $35.00.

Occurred on 1-20-05 at 5:32 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: Two non-UT subjects were reported as soliciting money from students while loitering on the west side of the building. Both of the subjects were issued a written criminal trespass warning.
San Antonio Garage, 2420 San Antonio
Occurred on 1-20-05 at 4:24 p.m.
Criminal Trespass (four counts): Four non-UT subjects were found sitting on the ground by the 5th floor elevators. One of the subjects was in possession of a case of beer. Each of the four subjects was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Occurred on 1-21-05 at 3:20 a.m.
Public Intoxication: A UT student was found walking into and out of the roadway. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Driving While Intoxicated: A UT student was stopped while driving a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado. The student waited for approximately 30 seconds at a traffic light after the light had changed from red to green. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated.

Occurred on 1-21-05 at 1:10 a.m.
Driving While Intoxicated: A non-UT subject was stopped for traveling the wrong way on a one-way roadway while driving a green Mercury Villager van. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated.
100 Block of West 22nd Street
Occurred on 1-20-05 at 11:57 p.m.
Driving While Intoxicated: A UT student reported a vehicle had driven off of the exterior steps near Battle Hall. The non-UT driver of the vehicle was found near the vehicle that was stuck on the stairs. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was determined to be driving while intoxicated. A tow vehicle was used to remove the stuck vehicle from the stairs.
Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 12 alarm calls, 2 unsecured door reports, 1 welfare concern call, 1 inventory shortage call, 3 public assist calls, 1 abandoned vehicle call, 1 found property call and 3 suspicious activity reports between 1-19-05 and 1-20-05.
