Blanton Dormitory, 2500 University
Occurred on 11-9-04 at 7:45 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found outside of a 2nd floor dormitory room attempting to make contact with a former acquaintance of his who was an occupant of the dormitory room. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Parking Lot 117, 1900 Comal Street
Discovered on 11-10-04 at 3:30 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: The left front window was broken out of a blue 1994 Ford 4-door sport utility vehicle while it was parked in the center of the Parking Lot. At this time, it is unknown if anything was stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $150.00.
Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall
Occurred on 11-9-04 between 5:00 p.m. and 5:01 p.m.
Theft: A black leather Ferragamo bi-fold wallet containing $25.00 cash and various credit / identification cards was stolen from the steps located on the south side of the building while the owner stood at the base of the stairs talking on a cellular telephone. A witness advised the owner he observed a subject take the wallet and walk toward Guadalupe Street. The witness described the subject to the owner as a white male, transient in appearance, wearing a baseball cap, an orange t-shirt and having a tattoo of a heart on his right forearm. Loss value: $100.00.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 11-9-04 between 10:00 a.m. and 11:40 a.m.
Theft: A grey Jansport backpack containing a Texas Instruments TI-89 calculator, a textbook and a black leather tri-fold wallet with $15.00 cash and various credit / identification cards was stolen from the lap of the owner as the owner slept on a chair in an unsecured 4th floor hallway. Loss value: $175.00.
Occurred at various times.
Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 3 alarm calls, 1 public assist call, 2 suspicious activity calls, and 1 welfare concern report between 11-09-04 and 11-10-04.
