Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred between 10-28-04 at 4:00 p.m. and 11-3-04 at 5:08 p.m.

Theft: A silver Creative MP3 player and a set of yellow Sony headphones were stolen from a secured locker in a 2nd floor men's locker room. The bottom latch of the locker door was found to have not secured properly. Loss value: $250.00.

2600 Guadalupe

Occurred on 11-3-04 at 7:20 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found walking in a lane of traffic after a 40-Acres bus driver ordered him off of the bus when the subject yelled threatening obscenities at the bus driver. The subject remained in the roadway causing on-coming traffic to take evasive action to avoid colliding with him. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself and others.

South Mall

Discovered on 11-3-04 at 1:43 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unidentified subject(s) affixed stickers to three different statues located on the South Mall. White chalk was used to write words at the base of one of the statues. Repair cost: $20.00.

Occurred at various times.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 12 alarm calls, 3 medical emergency calls, 2 collision reports, 3 public assist calls, 7 suspicious activity calls and 4 unsecured door reports between 11-02-04 and 11-03-04.
