Brazos Garage, 210 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred 9-30-04 at 5:05 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor / Public Intoxication: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found lying "passed out" on the top level of the garage. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Colorado Apartments, 2501 Lake Austin Blvd.

Occurred between 9-26-04 at 9:00 a.m. and 9-28-04 at 7:30 a.m.

Theft: An unknown brand red bicycle and a red Magna bicycle were stolen when they were left unsecured on the north side of building G. Loss value: $190.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred on 9-29-04 at 7:30 p.m.

Possession of Marijuana / Failure to Identify / Evading / Runaway Warrant Service: A UT staff member observed a UT student and a non-UT subject smoking a marijuana cigarette while sitting at a picnic table located on the west side of the dormitory. The non-UT subject initially provided a false name and date of birth. The student and the non-UT subject were found to be in possession of three plastic bags containing a total of .57 ounces of marijuana. The non-UT subject attempted to run from the police. After the non-UT subject was apprehended, he provided his correct name and date of birth. The non-UT subject was discovered to be a juvenile runaway from Arizona.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred on 9-29-04 between 8:00 p.m. and 8:05 p.m.

Terroristic Threat: An unidentified subject entered the lobby of the dormitory and began to pace back and forth in an "aggressive manner." The subject pointed at a housing and food staff member who was working at the front desk and made threatening statements to the staff member. The subject was described as a black male in his 20's, 6' tall, 190 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt and a blue baseball hat that was worn backwards.

Manor Garage, 2017 Robert Dedman Drive

Occurred between 9-27-04 at 11:00 p.m. and 9-28-04 at 1:30 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unidentified subjected kicked the left rear door to a silver 1997 Honda Accord 4-door while it was parked on the 2nd level of the garage. The kick caused a dent in the door. The kick also left a 13" to 14" long shoe imprint within the dent. Repair cost: $200.00.

Moore-Hill Dormitory, 214 East 21st Street

Occurred on 9-28-04 between 6:50 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Theft: A dormitory room key was stolen when it was left on a hook located inside a 1st floor men's restroom. Loss value: $1.00.

6926 North Lamar

Occurred on 9-29-04 at 4:00 p.m.

Warrant Service / Criminal Trespass: Under the authority of an arrest warrant, a UT police officer took a non-UT subject into custody for theft as a result of a criminal investigation for theft from the UT campus. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway

Occurred on 9-30-04 at 3:00 a.m.

Theft: Two UT students were found stealing a total of 29 bottled drinks from an unsecured coin operated vending machine located on the south east side of the building. The students stated they had observed the unsecured vending machine earlier in the day and decided to return at night to steal the bottled drinks. Recovery cost: $36.25.

San Antonio Garage, 2420 San Antonio

Occurred on 9-29-04 at 1:18 p.m.

Possession of a Controlled Substance / Criminal Trespass (4 counts): Four non-UT subjects were found loitering in an alley located on the south side of the garage. One of the subjects was found to be in possession of a small green rubber balloon that contained heroin.

Sutton Hall, 210 West 21st Street

Occurred on 9-29-04 between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Theft: A light blue Specialized Hardrock bicycle was stolen when it was secured with a chain to a bicycle rack on the west side of the building. Loss value: $250.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred between 9-17-04 at 4:30 p.m. and 9-18-04 at 3:30 p.m.

Theft: A red Cannondale bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the east side of the building. Loss value: $400.00.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Discovered on 9-30-04 at 4:00 a.m.

Graffiti: A silver paint pen was used to write a word on the east exterior wall. Removal cost: $50.00.
