Brackenridge Hall Dormitory, 207 East 21st

Occurred on 9-16-04 at 5:45 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found handing out posters and pins on the plaza south of the dorm. The subject had set up a table with movie posters attached and had been reported as trying to sell students George Lucas videos. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Colorado Apartments, 2501 Lake Austin

Reported on 9-16-04 at 7:28 p.m.

Solicitation: An unidentified subject was reported trying to sell fake roses for his charity "Americans for Peace."

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 E. 21st

Occurred between 9-15-04 at 1:30 p.m. and 9-16-04 at 9:15 a.m.

Theft: A blue and silver Avalon CS Next bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located between Jester and Brackenridge Hall Dorm along 21st street. Loss value $50.00.

Lake Austin Center, 3001 Lake Austin

Occurred between 9-14-04 at 10:30 a.m. and 9-16-04 at 7:00 a.m.

Burglary: An InFocus LP500 DLP Projector was stolen from an unsecured 1st floor room. Loss value $1500.00.

Manor Garage, 2017 Robert Dedman Drive

Reported on 9-17-04 at 1:25 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: The red call button was broken off an emergency call box located on the north side of the fourth floor of the garage. Repair cost $30.00.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 2401 San Jacinto Blvd.

Reported on 9-16-04 at 7:55 p.m.

Solicitation: A UT student reported an unidentified subject knocking on dorm room doors trying to sell magazine subscriptions to NCA magazine. The subject stated he would win a trip to Paris, France, if he sold 100,000 points. The subject is described as a white male in his 20's, dusty blonde hair, wearing a light blue shirt and jeans. The subject was last seen on the fourth floor.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 9-17-04 at 1:35 a.m.

Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was found to have been storing personal belongings in a planter on the southwest exterior of the building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

27th and Speedway

Occurred on 9-16-04 at 3:20 p.m.

Indecent Exposure / Criminal Trespass / Assist Outside Agency: A UT Police officer and an Austin Police Officer stopped a vehicle matching that of a suspect in an indecent exposure report. The officers observed the driver's pants were unzipped and his genitals were hanging out. A UT student had previously reported a vehicle had pulled along side her at the intersection of 30th and Speedway. When she looked down into the vehicle to see if she recognized the driver, she realized the driver was holding his exposed genitals in a manner that was intended to arouse himself and he was reckless about whether another person was present who may have been offended by his actions. In addition to other law enforcement action taken the subject was issued a criminal trespass warning.

1900 Robert Dedman Drive

Reported on 9-17-04 at 5:55 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A UT student was found on the east sidewalk of the garage, lying on his back with his legs stretched out. The subject was missing his right shoe and his shirt was unbuttoned exposing his chest. The subject was disoriented, had trouble standing and had an injury to the right side of his face. The subject was found to be under the influence of alcohol to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
