Occurred on 8-2-04 between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Theft: A wallet containing credit cards, blank checks and various forms of identification, including the owner's birth certificate and social security card, was stolen from a backpack that was left in an unsecured 2nd floor computer lab. An unauthorized charge was made on one of the stolen credit cards before the card was cancelled. Loss value: $5.00.
Moffett Molecular Biology Building, 2500 Speedway
Occurred between Fall of 2002 and 8-3-04 at 2:45 p.m.
Harassment: The former acquaintance of a UT student has sent several harassing, annoying and unwanted e-mails to the UT student's 1st floor office computer.
Parking Lot 25, 2500 San Jacinto Blvd.
Occurred on 7-7-04 between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Criminal Mischief: An unknown object was sued to break a "golf ball size" hole in a tail light of a parked 2002 BMW sport utility. Repair cost: $250.00.
George I. Sánchez Building, 1912 Speedway
Discovered on 8-3-04 at 11:00 a.m.
Graffiti: Red spray paint was used to write an illegible word on an exterior metal water pipe located on the southwest side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 8-3-04 at 3:54 p.m.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found leaning against a wall on the 2nd floor of the building. The subject's clothing was "soiled." The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
Wooldridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street
Discovered on 8-3-04 at 11:30 p.m.
Graffiti: A black permanent marker, a white paint pen and blue spray paint were used to draw markings on a pedestrian crossing sign located on the northwest side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00.
