Occurred on 5-10-04 between 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
Theft: Twenty-six dollars cash and a key ring containing two keys were stolen from a purse that was left in a 1st floor conference room. Loss value: $29.00.
San Antonio Garage, 2420 San Antonio
Discovered on 5-12-04 at 6:00 a.m.
Graffiti: Red spray paint was used to write words on the south exterior wall of the garage. Removal cost: $100.00.
San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street
Occurred on 5-11-04 at 1:23 p.m.
Suspicious Person: An unidentified subject knocked on the door to a 5th floor south tower dormitory room. The resident of the room looked through the door viewer and observed the subject leaning against the door as if he were attempting to hear the occupants inside the room. When the resident did not open the door, the subject began to walk down the hallway checking other dormitory room doors to see if they were unlocked. When a housing and food employee stopped the subject, he advised he was looking for a friend who lived in a 4th floor dormitory room and then left the building. The name of the "friend" did not show up as a resident in the dormitory. The subject was described as a black male in his early 20's, 5'5" to 5'7" tall, medium build wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and carrying a black bag.

Occurred between 5-4-04 and 5-11-04.
Theft (2 counts): A Sharp VCR and a JVC Compact Super VHS camcorder were stolen from two different unsecured 3rd floor observation rooms. Loss value: $225.00.
Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton
Discovered on 5-11-04 at 8:25 a.m.
Graffiti / Criminal Mischief: A pencil, a pen and a permanent marker were used to write words on a 2nd floor men's restroom wall. Removal cost: $40.00.
