Terroristic Threat: A UT employee became angered at a second UT employee after the second employee failed to open a door for the first employee. The first employee threatened to shoot the second employee.
Colorado Apartments, 2501 Lake Austin Blvd.
Occurred between 3-25-04 and 3-26-04 at 10:00 a.m.
Theft: A blue and white Giant bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a U-lock to a pole by building B. Loss value: $250.00.
Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street
Occurred on 4-5-04 between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Assault by Threat: Two UT students began to argue in one of the student's 11th floor dormitory room. One student threatened to kick the other student's lower posterior.
Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Avenue
Occurred on 4-5-04.
Harassment: A former acquaintance of a 3rd floor resident placed a total of ten annoying and unwanted telephone calls to the resident's cellular and dormitory room telephones.
Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center, 1900 Red River
Occurred on 4-5-04 between 6:10 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Theft: A purple Gap backpack containing a gray Samsung cellular telephone, clothing, toiletries and a wallet containing various identification and credit cards was stolen from an unsecured locker in the 1st floor women's locker room. Loss value: $110.00.
Music and Bates Recital Hall, 2405 Trinity
Occurred between 4-4-04 at 8:30 p.m. and 4-5-04 at 10:00 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: Seven combination locks were cut from seven storage lockers located in three different 2nd floor hallways. No items were stolen from the lockers. Repair cost: $16.00.
Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall
Occurred on 4-5-04 between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Theft: A black Nokia 51-20 cellular telephone and $1.00 was stolen from the front pocket of a yellow EastPak backpack that was left under a desk in an unsecured 1st floor office. Loss value: $101.00.
Occurred on 4-5-04 at 2:58 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found soliciting signatures from students, which is a violation of UT Regents' Rules and Regulations regarding solicitation. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Whitaker Fields, 51st Street and Guadalupe
Occurred on 4-5-04 between 12:30 p.m. and 5:26 p.m.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The front passenger window was broken out of a 1997 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle while it was parked in the north Parking Lot. A black leather Guess purse containing various personal grooming items and medications was stolen from the vehicle. A Clarion AM / FM / CD player stereo and the dashboard were damaged when an unknown device was used in an attempt to pry the stereo from the dashboard. Repair cost: $700.00. Loss value: $45.00.
