Occurred on 3-22-04 at 11:57 a.m.

Harassment: An unidentified caller placed two lewd telephone calls to a 7th floor office.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred between 1-24-04 and 3-11-04.

Credit Card Abuse: A UT student used a 5th floor resident's calling card to place several unauthorized long distance telephone calls. Loss value: $800.00.

Occurred on 3-22-04 at 6:30 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Assault / Interference with an Emergency Telephone Call / Unlawful Restraint: A non-UT subject entered the unsecured 3rd floor residence of a former acquaintance. The subject refused to leave the room and prevented the resident from leaving or calling the police department. The subject struck the resident prior to fleeing the dormitory room.

Parking Lot F-11, 200 East 22nd Street

Occurred between 3-20-04 at 5:30 p.m. and 3-22-04 at 9:20 p.m.

Theft: An unknown subject stole the rear license plate from a maroon Mercury Grand Marquee while it was parked on the east side of the Parking Lot. Loss value: $5.00.

Parking Lot 70, 2000 Robert Dedman Drive

Occurred on 3-2-04 at 2:16 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found placing flyers on parked vehicles in violation of UT Regents' Rules and Regulations regarding solicitation. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Prather Hall Dormitory, 305 East 21st Street

Occurred between 3-19-04 and 3-22-04 at 9:20 p.m.

Theft: Three digital video discs were stolen from an unsecured mailbox located in the 1st floor lobby. Loss value: $60.00.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred on 3-22-04 between 12:25 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Harassment: An unidentified subject placed two lewd calls to a 4th floor resident's dormitory room telephone.

George I. Sánchez Building, 1912 Speedway

Occurred on 3-22-04 between 3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

Theft: A black nylon purse containing a black and gray Nokia cellular telephone, $36.00 and various identification and credit cards was stolen from an unsecured desk drawer in an unsecured 5th floor office. A UT student observed a subject standing outside of the office during the time frame of the theft. That subject was described as a black male, approximately 15 years of age, 5'5" tall, heavy build, short hair, medium complexion and wearing a short sleeve shirt. Loss value: $91.00.

2500 Block to 2000 block of Speedway

Occurred on 3-22-04 at 8:00 p.m.

Public Intoxication / Assault on a Public Servant: A non-UT subject began to follow two UT students while making offensive statements and touching one of the students on her arm. UT police officers stopped the subject and found him to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself. After being taken into custody, the subject spat on the police officer. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
