Animal Resources Center, 2701 Speedway
Discovered on 3-16-04 at 5:35 a.m.
Graffiti: White paint was used to write a word on the south exterior door to the Chemical Transfer Building that is located on the south side of the Animal Resources Center. Removal cost: $50.00.
Art Building and Museum, 2301 San Jacinto Blvd.
Occurred on 3-15-04 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Theft: A yellow 26-inch bicycle (unknown brand) was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack on the southwest side of the building. Loss value: $150.00.
Experimental Science Building, 100 East 24th Street
Occurred on 3-15-04 at 9:32 a.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was reported looking into laboratories and offices on the 5th floor. When the subject was stopped he advised he had been in "a couple" of different buildings. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Graduate School of Business, 100 West 21st Street
Occurred between 3-12-04 at 4:00 p.m. and 3-15-04 at 8:35 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: A privacy wall located inside a 2nd floor men's restroom was "pulled" from the wall. Repair cost: $300.00.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 3-15-04 between 8:45 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
Theft: A chrome DJ Razor scooter with red wheels was stolen when it was left under a pool table in The Underground while the owner was at the bowling lanes. Loss value: $10.00.
Occurred on 3-15-04 at 7:10 p.m.
Assist Outside Agency: Two non-UT subjects were found with an odor of marijuana emanating from their persons. The subjects admitted to having had smoked a marijuana cigarette they had found. One of the subjects was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for public lewdness.
