Brazos Parking Garage, 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd.
Occurred on 2-07-04 at 2:30 a.m.
Driving While Intoxicated / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): A yellow 2003 Toyota Celica was traveling at a high rate of speed in the parking garage and struck two vehicles. When UTPD officers arrived, they found the driver, a UT-student who was under the age of 21, lying in front of his vehicle, uninjured. The driver had an involuntary physical reaction to the excessive consumption of an alcoholic beverage. The passenger, also a UT student who was also under the age of 21, said both he and the driver had "slammed a few" drinks earlier.

Discovered on 2-7-04 at 1:00 a.m.
Graffiti: A purple marker was used to write letters on a wall in a first floor men's restroom. Removal cost: $40.00.
Frank C. Erwin Jr. Special Events Center, 1701 Red River
Occurred at 2-18-04 at 6:16 a.m.
Suspicious Activity: A fire was started in a trashcan, and several tents were set up in the area around the building. Both activities are violations of the Board of Regents' Rules and Regulations regarding fires and camping on campus.
Parking Lot 117, 1900 Comal Street
Occurred between 2-5-04 at 9:00 p.m. and 2-6-04 at 7:25 a.m.
Burglary of a Motor Vehicle: A silver 2000 Dodge Ram pickup was found with the right passenger window broken out. The faceplate to a Clarion CD/AM/FM stereo was stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $100.00. Loss value: $75.00.
Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street
Occurred between 02-07-04 at 6:00 p.m. and 02-08-04 at 9:30 a.m.
Burglary: A small window was broken out of a secured 2nd floor office door, which allowed access to the door's locking mechanism. A Dell laptop computer was stolen from the office. Repair cost: $50.00. Loss value: $800.00.
University Teaching Center, 105 W. 21st Street
Occurred on 2-6-04 at 6:00 a.m.
Graffiti: A white paint pen was used to write on the stairwell door on the east side of the building. Removal cost: $35.00.
Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe
Occurred on 2-06-04 at 4:10 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in the trash dumpster area inside the facility's fenced-in Parking Lot. The subject had previously received a written criminal trespass warning.
