Occurred on 6-26-03 between 12:37 a.m. and 1:45 a.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was reported walking around parked cars and a grassy area near the apartments. The parked cars had cats sitting under them. The subject stated he can talk to cats and he was attempting to convince them to "leave him alone while he slept." The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Discovered on 6-25-03 at 3:59 p.m.
Graffiti: Black spray paint was used to write a stenciled word on a landscaping retaining wall. Removal Cost: $150.00.
Music Building East, 2405 Trinity
Occurred on 6-25-03 between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Theft: A red and gray Janis hybrid bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a 3/8 inch cable lock to a bicycle rack on the west side of the building. Loss value: $400.00.
Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st Street
Discovered on 6-26-03 at 12:15 a.m.
Graffiti: Black and blue permanent markers were used to write similar phrases on the walls and a fixture of a 2nd floor men's restroom. Removal cost: $40.00.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 6-25-03 between 12:22 p.m. and 12:25 p.m.
Theft / Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was caught stealing five baseball hats from the 2nd floor Campus Store. On a prior date the subject had received a written criminal trespass warning and had been arrested for stealing baseball hats from another campus store. Recovered property value: $85.00.
University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street
Discovered on 6-25-03 at 12:55 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: White chalk was used to write the same two words on the stairs and the ground floor door of stairwell #2. Removal cost: $20.00.
