Engineering-Science Building, 2501 Speedway

Occurred between 5-31-03 at 1:30 a.m. and 6-2-03 at 7:15 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: Three photographs of a UT employee's current family, that were displayed in a secured 1st floor office, were torn up and put in a trashcan. A UT employee, who is an ex-wife of the owner, has key access to the office. The plastic picture frames the pictures were in were also broken. Loss value: $10.00.

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 6-3-03 at 5:20 p.m.

Assault: Two UT students were playing basketball against each other when an argument ensued due to elbowing and shoving by one of the players. The offended player threw the basketball at the other player resulting in the subject being hit in the back.

Parking Lot 80, 1900 Red River

Occurred on 6-2-03 between 10:30a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Physical Plant Gas Station, 1300 Manor

Occurred on 6-3-03 at 3:15 p.m.

Theft of Service: A UT staff member used the Physical Plant Car Wash to clean his personally owned Ford pick-up truck. A Physical Plant employee had advised the staff member on several previous occasions that he was not authorized to wash his vehicle at the UT car wash. Loss value: $5.00.

Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street

Occurred on 6-2-03 between 12 noon and 2:55 p.m.

Theft: A black leather 9 West wallet with a silver name tag containing various identification cards, credit cards and a frequent flyer voucher from American Continental was stolen from a purse that was left in an unsecured 4th floor office. The debit card's security pin number was in the wallet. Prior to the discovery of the theft, three withdrawals totaling $664.50 were made at a local ATM machine.

School of Social Work Building, 1925 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 6-3-03 between 9:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Theft: A light brown woman's wallet containing $50.00 cash, a checkbook and various credit cards and identification cards was stolen from a purse that was left under a desk in an unsecured second floor office located in The Child Care Center. Loss value: $51.00.

Student Health Center, 107 West Dean Keeton

Occurred on 6-3-03 between 2:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

Theft: A key ring containing two building keys was stolen when it was left in the door lock to a second floor office. Loss value: $5.00.
