Criminal Mischief: A padlock and hasp were pried off of a paint storage room located on the first floor. Repair costs: $50.00.
Jesse H. Jones Communication Center, Building A, 2405 Whitis Ave.
Occurred on 7-8-02 at 1:35 p.m.
Assault: An unknown subject got into an argument with a UT-Faculty member outside a fifth floor office. The unknown subject pushed the faculty member in the chest then left the area. Subject is described as: White male, 5'5", and 140 lbs with sandy brown hair. Subject was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and green military style shorts with large cargo pockets on the sides. Subject was last seen entering an elevator on the fifth floor.

Graffiti: Graffiti written in green spray paint was located in the east stairwell basement level. Repair costs: $100.00.

Occurred between 6-17-02 and 7-2-02 at 8:00 a.m.
Theft: An Apple Power Mac, laptop computer, black in color was stolen from a secured first floor storage room. Loss value: $500.00.
Main Building, #1 South Mall
Occurred between 7-5-02 at 5:00 p.m. and 7-8-02 at 8:00 a.m.
Theft: A pair of Sony headphones, black in color was stolen from a secured 8th floor office. Loss value: $10.00.
Russell A. Steindam Hall, #7 East Mall
Occurred on 7-9-02 at 5:45 a.m.
Suspicious Person: An unknown subject was observed looking into and walking around the military vehicles parked behind the ROTC building. Subject was last seen heading south towards Moorehill Dormitory. Subject is described as: White male with shoulder length hair and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark colored shorts.
VENDING CART, GROUNDHOG, 100 Block East 21st Street
Occurred between 7-3-02 at 12:30 p.m. and 7-8-02 at 7:40 a.m.
Burglary of Building: Several CD's from various artists, a set of stereo speakers (unknown brand), along with $26.00 in U.S. coinage was stolen from inside a secured vending cart. Loss value: $85.00.
