Brackenridge Apartments, 3350 Lake Austin Blvd.

Occurred between 5-7-02 at 8:30 p.m. and 5-10-02 at 2:30 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: The windshield of a silver 1988 Cadillac was shattered by an unknown object while it was parked near building 3368. Repair cost: $300.00.

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred in 5-9-02 between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Theft: Cash was stolen from a wallet that was left unattended next to the basketball courts. Loss value: $10.00.

Occurred on 5-9-02 between 3:15 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Theft: A Wolfcreek backpack with gray and black trim was stolen from an unsecured locker in the second floor weight room. Backpack contained a black leather wallet. The wallet contained cash, credit cards, assorted identification and three checks made out to the "Communications Council." Loss value: $95.00 (not including checks).

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 5-9-02 between 3:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from an unsecured day-use locker in the faculty staff locker room. Wallet contained cash, assorted identification and two blank checking account checks. Loss value: $80.00.

Goldsmith Hall, #5 West Mall

Discovered missing on 5-9-02 at 11:43 a.m.

Theft: A 72" x 42" painting by Donald Judd was stolen from a wall in a second floor conference room. Painting consisted of black parallel lines going up and down with a black line going across the bottom of the parallel lines. Loss value: $3,000.00.

Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 5-9-02 between 2:10 p.m. and 2:10 p.m.

Theft: A calculus textbook was stolen when it was left unattended on a table in the second floor south central study lounge. Loss value: $60.00.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 5-9-02 between 1:10 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.

Theft: A black backpack containing assorted papers and university issued keys was stolen from a first floor office. During the time of the theft an unknown Hispanic male was seen in the area. He was described as 5'9", heavy set (250 pounds), approximately 20 years of age, dark complexion and was last seen wearing a light colored baseball cap, yellow shirt and khaki shorts. Loss value: $38.00.
