Occurred on 5-2-02 between 2:00 p.m. and 3:50 p.m.
Theft: A black nylon with brown leather bottom Outdoor backpack was stolen from an unsecured locker that was located in a second floor weight room. A marketing textbook, Texas Instrument TI-85 Graphing Calculator and a brown Fossil wallet was in the backpack. Wallet contained cash and assorted credit cards. Loss value: $153.00.

Occurred on 5-2-02 between 4:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Theft: A blue North Face Yavapai backpack was stolen from an unsecured locker that was located in a second floor weight room. Assorted credit cards and a "Spacecraft Dynamics" textbook were in the backpack. Loss value: $130.00.
Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street
Occurred on 5-3-02 at 12:35 a.m.
False Report: An unknown subject activated the fire alarm pull station that was located in the level one east stairwell. Building was evacuated for approximately fifteen minutes until it was determined that it was a false alarm.
Parking Garage 5, 2017 Robert Dedman Drive
Occurred on 5-1-02 at 10:35 p.m.
Theft of Services / Evading: A UT police officer, while walking out of the north exit, observed a 2000 Nissan pull up to the north exit vehicle control arm. An unknown white male passenger got out of the passenger side of the vehicle and then pushed up the exit control arm allowing the car, driven by an unknown white female, to exit. The UT police officer approached the vehicle and told the driver to stop. The vehicle stopped but the male passenger told the female driver to "go," at which time the vehicle left the scene. The garage videotape that recorded the offense and the vehicle's license plate number were turned over to UT Police for follow-up investigation.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject attempted to enter an area that was reserved for students, faculty and staff by using a UT student identification card that was issued to her roommate. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Sarah M. and Charles E. Seay Building, 108 East Dean Keeton
Occurred between 5-2-02 at 5:30 p.m. and 5-3-02 at 1:00 a.m.
Theft: A black plastic Rubbermaid trashcan was stolen from a secured second floor custodial closet. Loss value: $50.00.
Occurred on 5-2-02 at 10:07 p.m.
Robbery: A UT student stated that he had used the ATM machine in front of the University Co-op, which is located in the 2200 block of Guadalupe. He then walked to the South Mall by the southwest corner of the Main Building At that point two subjects came up from behind him and boxed him in. They first asked for a cigarette and then money. When victim stated that he did not have any money, they asked him if he had "pulled any money from the ATM." The two subjects were described as black males, approximately 5'9" to 5'10", late twenties, "clean in appearance" with muscular builds. One subject was wearing a blue bandana and a black sleeveless t-shirt. The second subject was wearing a black short sleeve button-up shirt that was made from a sheer material and had color patterns on it. A third subject was seen standing nearby and appeared to be acting as a lookout. Third subject was described as a white male, dirty in appearance, mid to late twenties with an average build. Victim was punched by one of the black males. A dollar along with an ATM card was stolen. All three perpetrators were last seen walking westbound toward Guadalupe.
