Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred on 4-6-02.

Assault / Harassing Communication: An unknown white male subject with dark skin knocked on an 8th floor resident's door on 4-6-02 at 5:40 am. Through the door viewer, resident saw a subject with his shirt over his head. When the resident opened the door the subject threw a liquid in the resident's face and ran away. Approximately two minutes later resident began receiving several telephone calls that were harassing and obscene from a subject who stated he had thrown the liquid in the resident's face. Telephone calls continued until 3:00 p.m.

Lavaca Building, 220 West 7th Street

Occurred on 4-7-02 at 12:15 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the west side of the building. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

2000 Robert Dedman Drive

Occurred on 4-5-02 at 4:45 p.m.

Soliciting: A non-UT subject was found pulling a red wagon and selling t-shirts. Subject was warned about unauthorized soliciting on campus and given a verbal criminal trespass warning.

2100 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 4-6-02 at 8:35 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: Four non-UT subjects (three were juveniles) were caught in the act of throwing water balloons from the 11th floor of Bellmont Hall at vehicles and pedestrians. One vehicle was damaged. Repair cost: $300.00.

2400 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 4-4-02 at 3:43 a.m.

Recovery of Stolen Property: A non-UT subject was stopped for multiple vehicular traffic violations. An orange "boot", which is put on a vehicle's wheel to make vehicle inoperable, was found inside the vehicle. Boot belonged to Parking and Transportation and had been put on a vehicle in Parking Lot 67 on 4-1-02. Recovery value: $200.00.

2300 Speedway

Occurred on 4-7-02 at 4:06 a.m.

Public Intoxication / Consumption of Alcohol By Minor: Two UT students, under the age of 21, were found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. One subject was intoxicated enough to be an endangerment to himself.

Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton

Occurred on 4-5-02 at 9:50 a.m.

Suspicious Person: An unknown subject who fit the description of a subject who exposed himself to student on 4-4-02 in the Townes Hall Library, was seen loitering outside a 3rd floor break room. Subject followed a staff member to her office but left the area when she called UT Police. An hour later the same staff member saw the same subject on the 2nd floor. When subject saw the staff member, subject immediately left the building. Subject was described as a black male, late 20's, close cropped hair, wearing a dark green jogging suit and bright white shoes.

Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street

Occurred on 4-7-02 between 7:20 a.m. and 7:40 a.m.

Theft: A silver and black Samsung cellular telephone was stolen when it was left unattended in a second floor classroom. Loss value: $75.00.

Whitaker Fields, 51st Street and Guadalupe

Occurred on 4-6-02 at 12:41 a.m.

Possession Narcotic Paraphernalia: A UT student parked a vehicle in the north Parking Lot. While investigating a possible burglary of vehicle, a UT police officer observed narcotic paraphernalia laying on the back seat of the vehicle.

Wooldridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street

Occurred on 4-7-02 at 1:45 p.m.

Public Intoxication / Consumption of Alcohol By Minor / Failure to Identify: A UT student, under the age of 21, was found on the south side of the building, under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was an endangerment to herself. Subject gave a false name.

300 West 24th Street

Occurred on 4-6-02 at 3:00 a.m.

Public Intoxication / Possession Controlled Substance: Two non-UT subjects, under the age of 21, were found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point they were an endangerment to themselves. Both subjects were found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
