Occurred between 6-3-01 at 10:30 p.m. and 7-3-01 at 5:00 p.m.
Theft: A Zildjian 36" gong and a green drafting stool were taken from a second floor storage room. Loss value: $800.00.
Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton
Occurred 8-4-01 at 9:00 a.m.
Suspicious Activity: A letter received by the law school made threats toward Baylor University and Baylor Law School.
Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway
Occurred 8-5-01 between 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Theft: A black Tommy Hilfiger wallet was stolen from inside a gym bag located on the bleachers next to the basketball court. Loss value: $45.00.
Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway
Occurred 8-7-01 between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Theft: A black nylon wallet was stolen from a seventeenth floor office. Loss value: $3.00.
Occurred on 8-8-01 at 4:00 a.m.
Driving While Intoxicated: A non-UT subject was found driving while intoxicated after driving the wrong way on a one way street.

The University Police Department has been receiving over the past six years and has alerted federal authorities of an e-mail scam involving transfer of funds from Nigerian or African banks. If you should receive an e-mail of this type, do not respond or reply back to the e-mail. Please be aware that we are currently acting on reports already filed.
